These are illustrations for a children's book that my father, Jaime Arocha, wrote. The book is about the adventures of a boy who attempts to save a carey turtle, an endangered species from the Choco Rain Forest, in Colombia. Transporting the reader to the world of the boy, the illustrations use reality as a base from which to delve into fantasy.
